Legacy Flight Museum Air Show

We went to the Legacy Flight Museum air show last Saturday and Trenton loved it!! He was signing plane over and over again and he would watch the planes until he couldn't see them anymore. We rode our bikes over form our house to avoid traffic and Trenton's bike trailer made a nice seat for some of Nyk's siblings. I was just glad that the clouds were out for most of it because it blocked the sun so we could actually see the planes.

Idaho Free Fishing Day!!

For Nyk's Dad's birthday we went fishing. It was Trenton's first fishing trip, but he had more fun swishing a stick he found through the water. Aunt Sherika made sure he didn't fall in or jump in cause it sure looked like he wanted to.

Later that day Nyk carved out a little mandolin for Trenton since he loves to play Nyk's. He loves all the instruments we have and he knows all their names! I guess he got his Daddy's genes. He pretends to strum his mandolin and says "ner, ner, ner."

Trip to Utah

A few weekends ago we went to visit Orlan and Corteiga in Midvale, Utah. We went to went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was pretty cool. Trenton wanted to touch everything. I thought the enormous sea turtle fossil was the coolest thing there.

After the museum we went to the Hill Air Force Base Air show. We saw the Thunderbirds perform and were amazed. Trenton thought it was kind of loud, but he didn't take his eyes off of the skies looking for them. Trenton got to sit in a helicopter and he balled and screamed when we took him out of the driver's seat. He is absolutely fascinated with anything that has a motor.

Fun on the Carousel

This was Trenton's second ride on the carousel. He went once last year, but it was a lot different this year. He really didn't want to get off so we twice in a row. The only way I got him off the second time was by telling him we would get some candy. We bought some cotton candy and Trenton surprisingly didn't like it at all. I guess it is a pretty weird texture. I got a pretty good picture of the face he would pull when I would put the cotton candy to his lips.

Memorial Day

So once again I've gotten very behind. I still want every one to see these super cute pictures from Memorial Day. Nyk took Trenton on the horses for the first time. He loved it! He's a true cowboy as you can tell from this lovely diaper picture from another day. Trenton loves his cowboy hat!
