Fun in the Water

Trenton and Treysen had a lot of fun playing in the water at the beginning of August. They loved putting their fingers into the sprinkler and then letting water spray out in their face when they took their finger out. Trenton also thought he needed to drink it. I don't really remember why they had no swimsuits on. They do have swim diapers on so you don't need to worry!

Vail Family Camping Trip

Last Friday we left for a camping trip with Nyk's family. We drove a little ways into Green Canyon set up camp in a little meadow. It was so pretty and so primitive. I missed being clean and using a toilet. Anyway, Nyk's dad brought the horses up and Nyk and I got to go for a ride. I even got the horse, Danny, to run a bit. It was scary and soooo fun!
Trenton also rode the horse for a little all by himself. With Mom off to the side and Dad leading, but . . . close enough. He loved it so much that he fell asleep while Grandma took him for a ride.

This is our cute, little slanted camping spot. Taylor, Jessica, Josh and Pumpkin are sitting in the only shade we had until we tied a rain fly up between some trees. It was so hot!!

Trenton, being the little motorhead that he is, couldn't get enough of the fourwheeler. Crazy kid!

Water Fun!

Trenton and I spent the day in Idaho Falls on Monday and Trenton and his cousin Riley went for a swim in Grandma's swimming pool. Trenton's favorite thing was to spray people with the hose. He would laugh hysterically every time he got someone. When I would spray him he'd cringe and shiver and then smile and laugh again. I never knew one kid could get so much pleasure out of a hose and sprayer. I'm sure his muscles were sore today from squeezing the sprayer so much.
Check out the muscles!!!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to the parade in Rexburg. Trenton laughed hysterically every time they threw candy and all of Nyk's siblings scrambled to get it. He loved the fire trucks and the horses and of course eating the candy.

After a lunch barbecue at our house, we headed down to Idaho Falls for a dinner barbecue at Grandma and Grandpa Hardcastle's house. We hung out at my parents firework spot until they were about to start and then rode our bikes to Grandma and Grandpa Rainsdon's house to watch the fireworks.

Trenton watched most of the fireworks pretty intently, but they weren't enough to keep his attention. He was still a great fourth of July filled with lots of fun with family.
